The Early Childhood Center of BPS101 Celebrates Week of the Young Child 2015

The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual event sponsored by the National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the world's largest
early childhood education association, with nearly 80,000 members and a
network of over 300 local, state, and regional Affiliates.

This national celebration highlights the importance of children’s earliest years
of learning and recognizes the critical role that school, family, and community
partnerships play in ensuring that every child experiences the type of learning
environment that promotes learning.

We hope that you will join us in celebrating your child’s learning by supporting
your child’s involvement in the following activities:

Sunday, April 12th : Join the EC Team at Engstrom Park from 3:00-4:30 for play and family fun.
Monday, April 13th : Children and EC staff to wear Spirit wear. All four classrooms will join together for a sing-a-long.
Tuesday, April 14th: Children and EC staff to wear comfortable sweats. All four classrooms will join together in creating a Friendship Salad to share.
Tuesday, April 14th: Parent Night with Summer Fun and Family Resource Fair. Please RSVP.
Wednesday, April 15th : Children and EC staff to wear crazy hats or come to school with crazy hair!
Thursday, April 16th: Children and EC staff to wear class colors!
Friday, April 17th: Children and EC staff to create a handprint mural together to commemorate the week!
